Thai Grilled Beer Can Chicken

Have you heard of a beer can chicken? It is a whole roasting chicken that you will marinade in your thai-lime sauce, we'll also send you home with a can of beer. When you cook it at home, you set the chicken on the open can of beer and it creates the most moist and delicious meal. Great taste, and MORE filling! It will be packaged in a plastic bag.

Cooking Instructions:

Thaw in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days or until completely thawed. Remove the chicken from the marinade. Discard the marinade. Pour half of the can of beer out. Preheat grill for a medium and indirect heat. Place the cavity of the chicken over the top of half-full can of beer. Place chicken with beer can in the center of the grill, using the legs to support and balance the chicken upright. Cover and grill for 1 ¾ to 2 ¼ hours or until it is 165 degrees using your meat thermometer. OR to bake, place chicken over beer can in a large sturdy roasting pan. Place the roasting pan on the 2nd lowest rack in the oven (you need to have enough room for the chicken to sit upright). Bake in a 350° F oven for 1 ½ to 1 ¾ hours or until it is 165 degrees using your meat thermometer. Carefully remove the beer can from the chicken.
