Our version of Beef Stroganoff is made with stew meat rather than ground beef. It features mushrooms, onion, garlic, and the sauce includes cream cheese…need we say more? It will include pasta and be packaged in a plastic bag. – Gluten Free with substitutions and an AlaskaFit approved meal.

Cooking Instructions:

Thaw in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days or until completely thawed. Place the contents of the beef package in a slow cooker. Stir in 2 cups of water (1 cup for small). Cover and cook on a low-heat setting for 8 to 10 hours or on a high-heat setting for 4 to 5 hours. Cook the pasta as directed and serve under the stroganoff. Pasta Bring a saucepan of 3 cups of water (6 cups for 2 bags) and 1/4 teaspoon salt to boil. Reduce heat, add pasta and cook for 10-12 minutes. Drain and serve.

Serving Suggestions:

Serve over hot cooked pasta.
