Tired of serving the same old brunch? Try this new spin on breakfast – it is a bread pudding with dried fruit and cardamom (a spice we had never tried before…it is a whole new flavor profile for us). This could also be used as a dessert and served with vanilla sauce or ice cream. It will be packaged in a 9×13 pan.
Thaw in the refrigerator for 2 to 3 days or until completely thawed. Prior to baking, slowly pour the egg mixture over the bread. Bake, uncovered, in a 325-degree oven for 50 to 55 minutes or until golden brown.
